Q. What is the quality of your greeting cards?
A. These are real photographic prints created in a professional photo lab.
Q. Is there a minimum order?
A. There is no minimum, however the best pricing occurs at 25 or more cards.
Q. Can I add a custom message to my card?
A. Absolutely! Type your message in the Comments Box on page 2 of the online ordering option. We will insert that message into the card. Be careful with spelling, punctuation, etc. as we will be transferring your input directly unto the card.
Q. What type of file must I upload and at what resolution?
A. If you are taking a digital photo for your greeting card, the .jpg file format is just fine. Set your camera to a high-resolution setting.
Q. What about cropping or color manipulation?
A. If you enjoy manipulating images with programs like PhotoShop, you're welcome to play with your image before sending it. However, unless you have a color-calibrated monitor it's better if we touch up the color and density here at Precision Photo Imaging.
Q. What should I know when composing my photo?
A. Most pictures will be cropped to standard 4x6 proportions. In other words, the longest size will be 1.5 times as long as the shorter side. Try not to get any part of your subject right on the edge of your photo. We can always bring the subject up closer if necessary.
Q. How long does it take to get my cards?
A. The holiday season is the busiest time of year. However, we work very hard to get greeting card orders out the door in 1-2 working days. For our non-local customers, orders will ship USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. The US Post Office tells us 2-3 days is their estimate for Priority Mail deliveries.
